Today, the members of Gamma Alpha Omega strive to uphold the values of Honesty, Integrity, Leadership, Scholarship, and Unity.
The Gamma Chapter was established at the University of Washington on April 12, 1996 out of the interest group of Hermanas Unidas. The organization was founded out of a common drive to increased Latina unity on campus and the need for a space that would allow women of color to grow and unite.
